Our medieval practice weapons are hand made, using high quality, red oak wood. It is specially treated wood to lock in the wood's moisture and shows its grain. These swords are designed to be historically accurate in size, weight and dimension to Medieval Renaissance weapons, commonly used through the 12th and 15th centuries.
